DanDan announced it will be raising money for hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico from October 12 through November 12. During that time, the restaurant says 100-percent of the sales of three special cocktails will go toward hurricane relief.
The restaurant kicked off the fundraiser with an event, Tropical Libations, on Thursday, October 12. According to a post shared by DanDan on social media, the restaurant raised $3,000 over the course of five hours. The restaurant introduced the following Puerto Rican-inspired cocktails at that event:
- Crazy Legs – Rehorst gin, Lemon, Mavi, Seltzer, Bittercube Bolivar Bitters
- Sa-Fire – Modest Vodka, Lime, Mango, Timut Bittercube Orange Bitters
- Pina Colada (born in Puerto Rico) – Twisted Path White Rum, Pineapple, Coconut, Bittercube Jamaican #1 and Blackstrap Bitters.
DanDan teamed up with Rehorst, Twisted Path, Bittercube, Great Lakes Distillery, Badger Liquor and Dock 18 for the fundraiser.
